Center for VLSI Design

The center for VLSI design (CVD) was established in 2009 to enhance the practical skills of the students and to be trained towards the present needs of the VLSI industry. The center focuses specially on analog mixed signal and SOC VLSI design. The CVD is equipped with Cadence tools and Xilinx tools.
A course on DIGITAL DESIGN on FPGA course is conducted by Dr.Vijay Krishnan Narayanan Prof, CSE Dept, Pennsylvania State University, USA. The lectures are conducted through web using Adobe Connect, followed by assignments, Projects & Evaluation by Dr.Kevin Irick, Research Associate, PSU. He visited B.V.R.I.T, ECE department during June-July 2012 to guide the projects for UG and PG students on FPGA's.
